Gluten Free Golden Turmeric Seed Bread

This high fiber, protein packed, gluten-free bread has become a favorite, and we hope your family will love it too! We added a turmeric twist for extra anti-inflammatory benefits. It is comfort food when we need comfort the most, without the usual refined carbs, sugar or processed junk! This bread makes a quick a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner. Pair it with some avocado, veggies, nut cheese or lean protein to make a tartine. Toast it in cubes for croutons. Get creative, the combinations are endless and your whole family will enjoy it.

Ingredients:
*makes 1 large loaf

2 cups of GF oats
1 1/3 cups any seeds you like (we used pumpkin + sunflower seeds @GoRaw, if using nuts go for sliced almonds with a combo of seeds)
3 tbsp of hemp seeds
2 tbsp white sesame
1/3 cup group flaxseed meal
1/3 cup psyllium husk
3.5 tbsp EVOO (use extra oil to grease the loaf pan)
1 tbsp of wild honey
1 tsp Himalayan salt (or more!)
2 tsp turmeric
Add a dash of cracked black pepper to activate the turmeric
2 tbsp of any finely chopped fresh herbs of your choice (we used parsley) or try a sprinkle of garlic (optional)
1 1/3 cup of water.

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350. Grease loaf pan with oil and set aside.

1. In bowl mix the oats, seeds, flax meal, psyllium husk, and salt. Then add oil and honey and 1 1/3 cup of water.

2. Stir well until all is moist

3. Cover with a plate or a kitchen towel (trying to avoid plastic) and let the dough rest for 35 minutes

4. Place dough in loaf pan and pack firmly. Bake on 350 degrees until golden brown. 35-45 minutes. Check it @ 35 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes. Cut into slices, enjoy!

Can freeze up to 1 month.
