The raw cacao is full of magnesium and tryptophan, both necessary chemicals for the production of serotonin, your “happy hormone.” It’s also high in iron, calcium, magnesium and antioxidants.

Enjoy this anti-inflammatory treat.

Superfood Chia Pudding:
*makes 4 servings

Ingredients:
2 cups nut milk
1/2 cup chia seeds
1/4 tsp ground sea salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Dash of cinnamon or cardamom (both are anti-inflammatory) sprinkle to you your liking
2 tbsp of raw organic cacao powder

Optional: 1 tbsp honey, blackstrap molasses or maple syrup for sweetness (or use as topping

Toppings: fresh berries, shaved coconut, hemp or pumpkin seeds, granola, goji berries, chopped nuts… get creative!

Directions:
Combine ingredients in a large bowl or large jar. Shake or whisk well and let rest for 5 mins. Whisk again and pour evenly into mason jars. Cover the jars and refrigerate overnight or for several hours until pudding is formed! These last for up to a week in your fridge.
