Nut Butter and Chocolate Cups, aka. Healthy REESE’S Peanut Butter Cups
*Makes 20 mini cups
½ cup melted coconut oil
½ cup of any nut butter
½ cup raw cocoa powder (unsweetened)
¼ cup raw honey
1 tbsp of maple syrup (omit if trying to lesson sugar)
2 tsp of cinnamon (more if you like!)
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Sea Salt to taste
2 tbsp of hemp (optional but adds a little crunch/texture + protein and your kids won’t know)
Directions: line a mini muffin tin with 20 mini paper liners. In a bowl whisk all together until smooth and creamy. Pour batter into mini muffin tin paper liners. Freeze for 1-2 hours then enjoy! Keep frozen till right before you eat. ENJOY!
Toppings: after the batter is poured into cups you can add: coconut flakes, edible rose petals, cacao nibs (delish!), freeze dried fruit, etc. Get creative!
