When summer cravings for ice cream hit, this sugar-free, unsweetened treat with only three ingredients does the trick.

Ingredients

  • 2 large bananas, chopped and placed in a sealed container in the freezer for at least 5 hours
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Dash of cinnamon (optional)

Simply add frozen banana slices, cocoa powder and vanilla extract to your food processor and blend! If you find you’re not getting a smooth consistency, add 1/4 cup of water or an unsweetened nut-milk of your choice.

Missing sprinkles? Add coconut shavings, cacao nibs, crushed nuts or whatever strikes your fancy.
