This vegan immunity-boosting tonic is healing, repairing and balancing for your body. The broth takes less than 5 minutes to make in a blender and is a new staple in our home. We have been sipping it as a snack throughout the day, so warming and nourishing. It’s also delicious served over rice or quinoa. Or, try using it when cooking your grains as a water substitute.

One of the key ingredients in this broth is spirulina. It’s a green algae that is one of the most complete plant based food sources. It is high in phytonutrients and chlorophyll to help detoxify your body and balance your alkalinity. One tablespoon boosts 4 grams of protein, vitamin B12, vitamin A and C, iron, chlorophyll and beyond. It’s always in our pantry. Daily, we’ve also been adding it to our smoothies, salad dressings, soups, etc.

Like tea, we also use sipping broth as a mindfulness practice to slow down. PAUSE, sip, and take in all the vibrancy of your food and the experience.
